At Ix Innovations, we understand the importance of low-power measurement in reducing the power consumption of today’s products. Not only do low-power components preserve battery life, they are a key factor in the growing field of “green” electronics. As a device that measures electrical current in the pico through milliamp range, we see our PocketPico SafeRanging picoammeter as an essential item in the low-power engineer’s “green” toolkit.
Martin Rowe at Test & Measurement World recently posted a short and sweet article on this topic:
“Measurements play a vital role in the push to reduce energy consumption. Often, the drive to produce products that use less electrical energy arises from economic considerations, yet lowering energy consumption also offers the added benefit of less pollution.”

Ix Innovations recently raised a round of funding from the Ann Arbor Micro Loan Fund managed by Ann Arbor SPARK. “The mission of this fund is to support innovative, high-growth start-up companies in the city of Ann Arbor as they near commercial viability.”
This financing is tremendously important to our company and will allow us to quickly bring our signature product, the PocketPico, to the market. We’re happy to have the support of the Ann Arbor community behind us as we continue to grow.
